11 Months Old
It is so hard to believe that Max will be our "baby" for only one more month. Time is flying by. Here are some pictures from yesterday, his eleven month birthday. He was pretty grumpy all day so I didn't get one picture of him smiling. Ironically, his shirt reads, "Happy as a Clam."

New Discovery
While attempting to get ready for an interview this morning, I suddenly realized that Max had become very quiet. Never a good sign....

Happy Father's Day!
It was a very hot and humid weekend for Jeff's first Father's Day. We spent Saturday afternoon at our neighborhood pool. It's been so hot lately that the water was really warm, just barely refreshing! Saturday evening we went to a small music festival at a blackberry farm in our area.
Sunday we spent the day at home. Max is crawling and climbing all over everything and is now on a mission to climb the stairs. I wouldn't necessarily call time at home "relaxing," but it was wonderful to spend quality time with just the three of us. Max is lucky to have such a great daddy! I know it's hard to read, but Max's shirt says,"My Dad Rocks!"

Water Baby
Jeff, Max and I headed to our neighborhood pool for the first time this weekend. Max loves bathtime, so we were pretty sure he would enjoy the pool. We were right! He liked splashing around in the baby pool, but he really loved floating with us in the big pool. He was in the water the entire time and could have happily stayed in much longer.

Making Memories
We returned on Sunday from our nearly two week trip to Ohio. We had a wonderful time and got to visit with all of our families. Daniel, Michael and Rana were even in Cincinnati which was a fun, rare occurrence! Max also got to spend some quality time with his cousin Chloe. Chloe turns three this month and she is the perfect combination of silly and sweet. We can't wait for the arrival of Chloe's little brother or sister in September. Unfortunately, my camera is acting weird again, so I didn't get to take many pictures. Luckily, I was able to upload a few from my mom's camera. Here are some highlights...
Happy hands!
Max was mesmerized by Nana's washing machine.
Rocking in Nana's chair.
Thankfully he never attempted to climb these stairs!
