Neil and Liz's Wedding

Neil (the youngest Banta brother) and Liz tied the knot on Saturday July 19. It was in a beautiful and very hot church (it was about 94 very humid degrees and the church is not air conditioned!) on the west side of Cincinnati. The bride and groom didn't seem to mind the heat though. They were all smiles throughout the entire ceremony. I don't think I've ever seen a more happy bride! Jeff and his older brother Kirk were part of the wedding party.

So now all of the Banta boys are married and I have another sister-in-law. Now we just need a few more cousins for Baby Banta.......

Baby Shower

This past Saturday Great Aunts Judy and Joanie and Nana hosted a beautiful shower for Baby Banta. Most of our family was there and some very close friends. Everyone was so incredibly generous and we now have most of what we need for Baby Banta's arrival. The highlight of the shower seemed to be the name game. Poor Baby Banta does not have a name yet so everyone gave us some "helpful" suggestions. Barack, Regis and Lefty were a few of the favorites. We are so lucky to have such wonderful friends and family to give us love and support during this fun time. (Kim Sherlock took lots of pictures, so I will post more when I get them from her!)

Getting Ready for Baby

Baby Boy Banta is due Aug. 15, 2008. Maggie, Jeff and I can hardly wait!
